So first off I would like everyone to know how much work has been put into making this page look soo good!! I was on here for almost 3 hours last night trying to figure out all the quirky things this blog has. I still don't know how to do half the stuff that can be done. I tell ya, these things should come with instructions or something!!! I will perfect it one of these days and this page will be phenomenal!

Nothing too exciting to tell about. Emma and I spent all week with Lincoln. Granny bought us a wagon so I could take Emma and Lincoln for walks! So much better then one walking and the other in the stroller, or better yet both of them walking!! Don't get me wrong they both are good little walkers but it tooks us almost 20 minutes to get to the end of a block because they both had to stop and look at everything!! Not that I'm complaining about that but it's just easier to have them both in the wagon!! Emma loves going for walks in the wagon, there's a little cup holder and she puts her water/juice in it and just sits back and relaxs! I'll have to get some pictures of them in the wagon next time we are hanging out with Lincoln!

My fiasco with telus is finally over! Monday a guy came and fixed my phone lines so that my phone number was the number being used, not the people upstairs. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday....my phone had no dial tone!! I talked to someone at telus every single day and they all told me it was probaly my phone so when the line started to work agin to phone them back. So when the phone did get a dial tone, I did phone them back and by 7pm that night it was gone again. So finally a guy came to my house to see why this was happening. He was outside for almost half an hour till he came down stairs to try out the phone line. He informed me that the plastic around the lines were worn off, the copper wire was green and when he touched one of the wires to move it, he said it all but crumbled in his hands!!! My phones eh?! Freaking telus, I'm glad I got a smart telus guy out to fix this otherwise we'd probably still have this problem. He said the lines had to have been like that for awhile for them to be so bad!! Sure says something about the ones who hook up our lines out in Raymond now doesn't it!! So we are pretty excited that our phone line now works, and we have internet!

Adam is pretty excited about the internet, he has been on his world of warcraft since it has been working!! Doesn't surprise anyone! Today he went out paintballing in Taber. Said they were doing something along the lines of bush paintball????!!!! Basically no set ups or anything just trees and bushes! Fun, I guess!

Emma and I didn't do much, I haven't been feeling very good today so we didn't go to church. We did go to town got me some drugs to hopefully make me feel better and picked up a fish and tank from a friend!

Now our fish story... We have three goldfish already in a goldfish bowl. The fish that we were given is a bayta (??Sp??) So I moved our three fish into the bigger tank and the new fish into the little goldfish bowl. While I was doing that I had Emma hold on the new fishes food while I moved them around. And she did. She left the kitchen once and now we can't find the food! I've looked in every hiding place that she uses and no food! So, when Adam gets home tonight we will be doing a search party to find the missing fish food! She usually goes and puts it on the shelf wher the fish bowl is but this time she hide it! Next time she won't be holding the fish food, she can hang on to something else!!

Here is our new fishy! We haven't named him yet but I think we'll call him "Kit" lol Why I don't know, it sounds good! The three fish, we haven't named them either, but The black one is Adams, the Gold one is mine and the mulit colored on is Emmas!

I cannot believe how beautiful it has been outside after having that snow storm a week ago!!! It's soo nice!! This past Friday I just about had a heart attack, Emma fell down the stairs at my Moms house!!! I have never moved so fast in my life!! She was trying to be a big girl and walk down the stairs! She does good when there is a railing to hold on to, but when there isn't....not so good. Thank goodness she didn't get hurt, well she did get hurt found a pretty big bruise on the inside of her right knee, which I think is pretty impressive for falling down 4 stairs! If that would have been me, I would have been bruised head to toe, she is one tough cookie! I got a lecture from Mom and Dale about making sure the baby gate is up, and you bet that sucker gets put up when I walk through the door!

Sunday, we all went mini-golfing! Was soo much fun! We took Emma's golf clubs that my Mom got for her for Easter. She would hit the ball with her little club, so cute! And me being a little lazy...I brought the camera so I could take pictures but I left it in the car and didn't go back and get it!! So I have no pictures to show of her first mini-golf experience!! She hit the ball with her club the first few holes and we just added one stroke up from the highest of ours for her score. About the 9th hole she decided she didn't want to hit it anymore, so we would just toss it towards the hole and she's run after it so we could hit our balls!! There is one hole that has a little hutt that has two holes that the balls go down and then end up at a different spot, well she would put her ball down the hole, run to the other side watch the ball come out and go back again! She did 4 times till we had to move to the next hole! At this time she finally figure out that the ball needs to go into the little hole! So after we tossed her ball, she'd get it and put it in the hole! lol We counted them as 2 strokes! Needless to say with everyones effort, Emma beat us!! lol Then we went for ice cream and to Henderson to the new park to play. Emma had fun at the park, so many kids and puppies!! She didn't much car for the swings but loved the slides! And every dog that walked by she had to point and bark at it! What a turkey!!

Yesterday we had Lincoln over at our house. I had to be home so the telus guy could fix our phone line so we could have a phone! I don't think he liked it much, there was too many girly toys and Emma only wanted to play with her babies so he read alot of books!! Then after lunch and naps we went for a walk to go visit Granny! We didn't get far because Granny was on her way to our house to get us! So we ended up at Grannys, Lincoln walked around the driveway while Emma pushed a bubble lawn mower for them to play with the bubbles!! Those two are so cute together!!
Hopefully this week stays nice, it's been so nice being able to go outside without a winter coat on!! Soon we can break out the shorts and capris!! Oh yes, our "cousin" (I guess that's what we can call her) Nancy had her babies this past week, two beautiful little girls Charlotte and Danica!! Can't wait to go see them! Emma is just going to love them! We are still waiting for Erica to have baby....patiently! So then we'll be making a trip north to go visit my Dad and Shirley and of course to see Erica and baby!! :O) This is a good month..so far!!

what a week!

Wow...so here we are thinking that spring is wonderful! Walking around outside in t-shirts, some are in shorts (not me), windows opened....then Tuesday comes. The start of one freaking crazy snow storm! So, Tuesday I was in town watching Lincoln, and it starts snowing. Thick, heavy snow. I borrowed Moms truck because one of my windsheild wiper blades flew off on Monday on the highway (I was mad to say the least!) I'm glad I borrowed the truck. When I was on my way home around 530, the snow was coming down pretty heavy. And of course because the weather changed people were driving like idiots. The highway was not too bad but it wasn't great. The snow had pilled up in the middle and on the side, so if you drove in it, you were pulled in that directions. I'm telling you it was crazy. I did 100km/h on the highway, following about ten cars. It was nuts. Then finally got to my moms to get Emma and my car, I had to push off almost a foot of snow off my car!! Heavy freaking snow!! So anyways, we are home having a good evening. Emma goes to bed. Adam and watch a movie and head to bed around 1030. Well....at 1100pm the power flickered and woke me up. Then it shut off for a minute, turned back on, then shut off again for good. It was soo dark in our basement suit, I seriously couldn't see my own hand in front of my face. My only thought was, Emma do not wake up!! She did, around 130. I had to find Adams cell phone to use as a flashflight so I could go get her. I went and gathered up a couple candles and lit them, put one in our room, Emmas room and the kitchen. Thank goodness I had lots of candles in my house! Adam and I got up around 515am, so he couldget ready for work and I was going to go outside and shovel the snow so that someone would be in the house with Emma while I was outside. I shoveled the sidewalk enough to get to the cars....then I realized that we weren't going anywhere. The snow drift in front of Adams car came to my knees, the drift on the drivers side was just high enough that the door scrapped the snow! My car was behind his...and wasn't going anywhere either. I'd say about a 1 foot drift behind my car! There was no way he was going to work, or just plain going anywhere. So we went back to bed. Around 830, David, Adams brother, came over! Was anice little visit, a surprise because he walked a block to come see if everything was okay with us! What a nice guy! Well, it was freezing in our house. So Emma and I went to my moms (She has a wood stove!), and Adam was leaving with his friend Randy to head up to Calgary for his concert. By this time the plows had gone down the road and the nice guys in town with skidsteers plowed some driveways! So we were able to get out!

Now...today you wouldn't even know that we had a freaking winter storm warning on Wednesday. The snow is dang near melted and people are again running around in t-shirts and shorts! Actually should say playing in the snow in t-shirts and shorts!!

So Adam went to Amonamarth. They are a band from the UK (I think!) a heavy metal band, so I had no interest in going. He said it was an excellent concert and has no voice to prove it!! Well I better get outta here, Emma is getting into something she shouldn't be!

So this past week has been a little hectic! I took Emma to the doctor on Wednesday because she has been sick for over a month, our doctor said she may have asthma because she did not have a temperature to go with her coughing and runny nose. Blah! So he gave her a script for her cold and a script for asthma, just in case it is a cold and not asthma and the other way around. So we've been having fun giving her, her inhaler. She hates the chamber that we got to give her the inhaler, she plays with it until it's time to use it! She likes the cold medicine though, which I guess is okay she takes it!! Then this past Sunday, she wasn't feeling very good. Then it all started. Diarrhea like crazy!! She vomited once and got it everywhere! I was covered, moms chair was covered and a little bit of the floor. So needless to say she got that baby flu that has been going around. :O( She hasn't been doing much but sleeping, but that is okay, she needs to get better.

Friday night, we had Martha and Sam over for a sleepover!! It's always exciting to have Martha and Emma together! Those two are a riot! Emma has a little toddlers bed in her room. She doesn't sleep on it yet just plays on it, so her and Martha would sit on the bed and read books together! Sam and I gave the girls a bath that night too, they had lots of fun! Then when I took them home Saturday afternoon, we stayed and played at there house. Martha has a little kitchen set and was teaching Emma how to make coffee and bacon on her little stove!! Emma carried around a cup and fork and was stiring her 'coffee' with her fork and drinking it! Was so cute! These girls are going to get into so much trouble when they get bigger!! hahaha

Saturday evening, Emma and I went to Adam's cousin Jays wedding reception out in Magrath. Adam was in Calgary picking up his tickets for his concert tomorrow. It was very nice. Very warm in the gym (I think that's what we were in!!) but nice! The Bride, Brittney, was beautiful. Emma loved the beading on her dress. The Groom, Jay, looked like a very happy man and sure does clean up nicely! I've only seen him a few times and it was in jeans and a t-shirt, so him in a suit was quite a change! McEvitt and Kelli were at the reception so we were able to see them. Emma doesn't think to much of McEvitt, but goes to Kelli just fine! So Kev, she just doesn't see you enough!! *hint*hint* lol David, Ashley and Daxton are down as well. I got to see them last night but Emma hasn't yet. Hopefully she gets better soon so she can visit with her Aunty and Uncle!!

Sunday was a lazy day for all of us, Adam was going to go paintballing but it was too cold outside. Emma and I went to my Moms, which I am grateful we did and I didn't decide to stay home. That's when Emma started getting sick! Mom and Tabitha helped me clean her up from her pooping and vomiting. I'm telling you was a 2 mans job!

Well, aside from Emma being sick we are doing good. Hope everyone is having a wonderful, snowy day!!

Here we go!

So I figured it would be fun to have a blog. Yes, crazy but it's such a great way to let those who live far away what's going on here. Not that anything exciting is happening at the moment, which makes this a great time to start!!

I'll start with what's happening with us! Adam is working full time at Timber Tech building trusses for houses. He works Monday to Friday, so Emma and I only get to have him around all day on the weekends. We enjoy that. He spends Sunday morning/afternoon paintballing while Emma and I are at church. One of these days he'll come to church with us instead of paintballing. One day! ;o)
I am currently unemployed, just can't seem to find a job anywhere...well I shouldn't say that no one seems to want to hire me! I applied to go to hair school but there was some complications with the school so I am holding off till that gets cleared up. Right now, Emma and I are watching her cousin Lincoln while his mommy and daddy are working/at school. We've done that for a couple days now and have had fun. I am taking a waxing course anda pedicure course in the next few month, so hopefully something good comes of that.
Emma, Emma, Emma. 15 months old and getting into everything! She is a walking machine and talks up a storm. She says "What's this?" "Here" "There she is" "Hi" "Emma"and a few more but I can't remember off the top of my head! She's been sick for the last 7 weeks, and we just found out that she may have asthma......so we are giving her an inhaler four times a day now, which really sucks because she doesn't like it at all!! We are still hoping she's getting over a cold, we have medicine for that too. Crossing our fingers! She loves animals! Says the noises to a few, the cow, dog, kitty, duck. It's pretty cute! She's growing like crazy, 24lbs now! Not exactly sure how tall she is, I'm going to say 35inch....
Well I have to stop now, Emma is screaming. I think it's time for a nap!
