Okay so it's been almost 2 weeks since I blogged anything on here. There has been soo much going on that I just haven't had a chance to get on here and actually write it all down!

The whole week of the 13th we had rain...rain...rain...and more rain! Needless to say there was a lot of freaking rain! There were houses that had water up to there front door....up there doorstep! Lakes and ponds were soo full that you couldn't tell where the grass bank was...poor birds! There was soo much water that we were all surprised that no one was flooded out in there homes...even those that had the water to there doors! Until Friday came along....yup Friday. Everyone that I know in Raymond had a flooded basement...well nearly everyone some lucked out! So in short...my basement flooded!

Thursday when I got home from work, the bottom of our stairs was about 2 inches of water, which was coming out from under the stairs form the storage room underneath it that had about 4 inches of water!! Ya...I was worried it was going to get into our place but..nothing. Until i walked on to the kitchen floor and little bit of water leaked out from the crack between the lino and tile. Landlord and I figured it had come from him cleaning up the laundry room water so we just dismissed it and forgot about it. When we went to bed Thursday night, our floors were dry! That was around 1130-1200...when Adam woke up at 530am to go work our floor was soaked!! Everything that was on the floor was soaked! So I was up at 530 Friday morning picking everything up off the floor so it wouldn't get ruined! Everything was picked up, Emma's chair, books that were left on the floor, games, pictures...etc... and tossed on the couch! I called my mom around 800am to let her know that we would be hanging out at her place till the water went away. She then found out that her basement had flooded too! So even though she complained that I called...it was a good thing I did or she may not have noticed her basement was flooded till later and would have lost more.

Stressfull weekend. To top that off....Friday the 18th was supposed to be my first day at Thyme Maternity, I didn't go. The manager told me to get my house cleaned up so I can come in on Sunday. Which was soo nice that I was able to get my house half cleaned.

So we've been doing a lot of basement cleaning the past two weeks. In my basement, the landlords pulled out all the carpet that was in the living room and my bedroom. They said the are going to get the living room fixed up, then do the kitchen and possibly do the floor under Emma's bedroom (Her floor is about 3 inches off the floor) Oye...so we've been staying at my moms since the 18th of June! It's been okay but would be nice to be in my own place, in my own bed....but have to wait till our house gets done. Stressfull to say the least!

Then on top of all this stupid stress, my Grammie isn't doing so good. Went to the hospital on the 21st because she was haveing seizures then we find out she has bleeding on her brain that there is nothing anyone can do but wait to see what happens. Either it'll stop or not. It stopped. Thank goodness, but now she's not eating. But Grammie is one stubborn old lady that I'm sure she'll start eating soon and cause us more grief!! We love her, even when she is crazy and trying to give us all heart attacks!!

So, I've been working at Thyme Maternity since the 20th of June, and I love it! The ladies there are soo much fun...well there's only 4 of us and 2 of us are new! So it's nice to get in somewhere and actually enjoy working with everyone and getting to learn everything with someone else! I only work a coupe days a week, which is totally fine, I still get to hang out with Emma during the week and Adam gets to watch Emma on the weekend, so works out pretty good. In the fall, the manager told me that I can be moved up to full time because her full time lady is going back to school in the fall!! So that's pretty exciting. Finally things are picking up for me!!! Only took forever!!!!

I signed Emma up for swimming lessons out here in Raymond. They are the parented preschool classes, so I get to go swimming with her everyday till next Friday!! She had her first class yesterday, was lots of fun! Only 3 kids showed up, including Emma, and two little boys! They said there was supposed to be 6, so we'll see how today turns out! But yesterday we didn't get started right away because we were waiting to see if the other kids would show up, so we only swam for about 15 minutes of our 30 minutes.....that's okay it was fun! Emma got to blow bubbles in the water, float on her back and tummy, jump in to the water from the edge! She had fun! Today we go again! I'm pretty excited...and maybe I'll get a little bit of a tan out of this! hahah I can only hope!

Adam is still working everyday at Timber Tech, plays softball Wednesdays and Thursdays and paintball on Sundays. This past weekend his brother McEvitt was down so he did some golfing Saturday night and early Sunday morning! He also got some tickets to go to Disturbed concert...I think it's the end of July not 100% sure but he got tickets!

So aside from my stress level being out of whack and driving me crazy, things seem to be going okay. Emma is growing like crazy, weighs just over 23lbs not sure how tall she is but she's always growing! Is starting to talk, says "rama" (Grandma) "papa" (Grandpa) "anny" (Aunty) "puppy", "bebe" (Baby) and many other words those are just the most common ones at the moment! Even says a few phrases once in a while..."What's this" "I don't know?" It's crazy. And in a couple of days I am starting to wheen her of her sucky! She'll only get it for naps and bedtime....it's going to be fun!!! Oh yes...and did I mention she has become a little terror?!?! She tries everything...even after we tell her no! She gets into lots of trouble! But...even when she is a little hellion I still love her more then anything in the world!
