A few things have happened in the past week. Nothing to major but things!
Emma and I hung out with Lincoln all week last week. Emma's Uncle Patrick has gone out to Manitoba to sell security systems, so we've been hanging out with Lincoln everyday! It's always fun! They are both learning so much from each other and picking up on weird quirks the other has too! Emma now bangs her head against the back of the couch when she is sitting on it...it's funny! She is just a crazy lady as it is, and she is talking up a storm! Even if we till don't understand what she is saying, she is talking like we do know! She is such a big girl. On Thursday we made Lynsey, Lincoln's Mommy, a Mothers Day present! I had him paint her a picture, Emma wanted to paint too but we did one at home already! We also made Mothers Day cards, which Lynsey was the only one to get her because the others were left behind at my Dads!
Had time to think about things and figure things out and what not. Was nice! So we have some big changes that are going to be happening and hopefully they are for the good and do us all good in our lives together! We'll see what happens!

Tonight I took down her crib and put her in her toddler bed, I am hoping it goes good and she doesn't fall out! It's only like 10 inches from the floor so it's not a far drop if she does, but if she does she'll wake up...so I am preparing for a long night tonight!! She was pretty excited to help me take down her crib but I don't think she realized what was really happening though until I did put her to bed!! She screamed but....she will eventually fall asleep! I'm excited!!
On Thursday, Emma and I took a much needed trip to Red Deer. The trip to Red Deer wasn't needed, the time away was, but Red Deer was a good choice for some time away! We arrived at bed time so we didn't do too much Thursday, Friday we met my Dad for lunch, Emma got to taste Jello for the first time!! Then we hung out with Erica and met baby Bella! Emma loved Bella, she's a baby of course she would! Saturday we went for lunch at an all you can eat Japanese restaurant...was soo good! Emma got to have her first taste of sushi there! It wasn't raw sushi, had crab meat in it I do believe! She liked it! Then Emma went shopping with Grandpa, he said she was a hoot talking to everyone!! That night Sandra and I went to see Nightmare on Elm Street, not so great. Wasn't a bad movie if it would have been the very first one made for NES but it wasn't and they just ruined the whole story line...but you'll just have to see it to know why I say that! Grandpa and Grandma Shirley got to babysit Emma while I was gone, and they enjoyed it! Then on Sunday Shirley took us girls out for a Mothers Day Brunch! Was very nice, Thanks Shirley!! Emma got to dip her own strawberry into chocolate fondue!! She did very good, eating the strawberry was messier then the dipping itself!! Our ride home was horrible!!! It rained, and when I say rained it poured rain so bad that I was doing 80 on the highway!! There was even times when it was hailing!! That happened from Red Deer to Calgary, and to top off the horrible rain, my windsheild wiper got lose so I had to stop in Bowden to find a wrench to fix it! I drove around Bowden for almost 15 minutes looking for a gas station!! Then in Calgary there was a few stops that lasted almost 20 minutes each because there was construction going on and had to slow right down or the lanes were ending!!! I am glad to be home from that drive!! Emma slept from Bowden to Fort Macloed! Was nice to have her sleeping, unlike the drive up when she was awake 95% of the time and screaming at me because she was throwing her toys and treats on the floor!! It was nice to get away and to have time to myself...with Emma! lol

Today we had Lincoln come over instead of if us going to his house to hang out! Was lots of fun! He loves the fish and Kalie! He followed Kalie around meowing at her! Was funny! Emma and Lincoln took a nap together on my bed, was soo cute. They cuddled up together for about 10 minutes, then they seperated and slept like they normaly do! Granny Sue came over for a visit and they played 'ring around the rosie' Emma just laughed when it was time to fall down and Lincoln fell down! Was a fun day today!!
